ABSTRACT

Just a year or so ago, URL filtering was considered a nice thing to have but not a necessity; it now finds itself as a first line of defense in phishing. Two-factor authentication in the form of tokens were long considered a luxury and are now effectively being mandated by regulatory agencies for Internet banking and I expect will find their way into environments that are entrusted to secure any personal information such as that which could potentially be used in identity theft and perhaps even medical records.
