Unified Modeling Language (UML) is a widely used modeling language for abstracting and representing discrete systems, particularly object-oriented software systems. It includes concepts and notation for describing various aspects of a system at many possible levels of detail. UML models are usually viewed in the form of different diagram types, such as class diagrams, use case diagrams, sequence diagrams, state machine diagrams, and activity diagrams, each of which emphasizes a different aspect of a system.
