Abstract

Software Configuration Auditing (SCA) functions throughout software development irrespective of the life cycle model followed. Software developers and project and product managers focus on SCA planning and execution because it ensures the quality of documents and code as well as changes that has been made to them. Everyone on a software project is affected by SCA. From the framers of the Project Plan to the final tester—from the most junior engineer to the most senior, SCA ensures the process and individual component quality.
