Abstract

The IEEE Computer Society, the largest of IEEE's 38 societies, serves the information and career needs of software engineers and other computing professionals worldwide with journals, magazines, conferences, books, conference publications, and courses. Offering two software engineering certifications—the entry-level Certified Software Development Associate credential and midcareer Certified Software Development Professional credential, the Computer Society developed the Guide to the Software Engineering Body of Knowledge (SWEBOK), a seminal document defining knowledge essential to software engineering.
