ABSTRACT
Human performance is the accomplishment of a task by a human operator or by a team of human operators. Tasks can vary from the simple (card sorting) to the complex (landing an aircraft). Humans can perform the task manually or monitor an automated system. In every case, human performance can be measured and this handbook can help.
