ABSTRACT
Olefin derivatives (C n H2n , such as ethylene CH2=CH2) are the basic building blocks for a host of chemical products. These unsaturated materials enter into polymers and rubbers and with other reagents and react to form a wide variety of useful compounds, including alcohols, epoxides, amines, and halides.
