Abstract

The bismuth-based superconductors are one of the representative layered cuprate superconductors, distinguished by their high anisotropy and the ability to manufacture long superconducting tapes for various applications. In addition, this system can be regarded as model compounds characteristic of many other homologous series of cuprate superconductors.
