Abstract
Laboratory soil test is to determine physical, chemical and mechanical properties of soil. This provides an important guidance for geotechnical engineering design and construction. This chapter includes the preparation of soil specimen and test procedures mainly according to Standard for Soil Test Method (GB/T 50123-1999) and relative industry standards, such as highway and water conservation. We prepared flowcharts of test procedures for each test, in order to provide the readers with an overall view of the test.
