ABSTRACT
In this chapter, recent advances in properly taking into account moisture phenomena in modeling the hygrothermal behavior of building envelopes are presented. These advances deal with the modeling and selection of climatic boundary conditions when modeling the interaction of the building envelope with the outdoor environment and with the modeling and assessment of the hygrothermal envelope conditions in terms of durability and performance.
