Abstract

This chapter describes the application of electroactive polymers (EAPS) as intelligent carriers for drug delivery. Their conducting mechanisms and various synthetic approaches to produce these polymers are discussed in this chapter. In addition, the performance of electroactive conducting polymers will be discussed in the development of smart drug delivery.
