Abstract
In this chapter, we discuss how radio frequency identification (RFID) supports information use in the supply chain (SC), open and closed loop systems as an intelligent agent, real-time item visibility that facilitates inventory control, SC planning and operational optimization, and organizational improvement with best practices.
