ABSTRACT

The body is deeply interconnected, which means that compensation patterns or dysfunction in one area of the body can have a profound effect on another area. This interconnectedness is mediated throughout the anatomy including the highly innervated fascial system, which is covered in depth in Chapters 5 and 21. This interconnectedness of the human body lies not only within the musculoskeletal system but also exists metabolically, with every disease, medication and lifestyle decision affecting the entire body.
