ABSTRACT

This chapter is most directly and closely linked to Chapter 18, relating to innovation and its diffusion. Its main focus, however, is about how an organisation might be best designed to facilitate and diffuse innovation that improves the value generated through delivering projects. In that respect it also has close links to Chapter 4 that poses the question of what is value and value to whom? It also links to other chapters because design thinking (DT) is based on the integration of diverse groups who collaborate within a culture that promotes a broad perspective on the nature of value rather than simply seeing value in monetary terms.
