ABSTRACT

In the past decade or so, the electroporation (EP) community has reported a variety of new experimental findings, scientific insights, and promising applications. This includes a new society, ISEBTT (International Society for Electroporation-Based Technologies and Treatments); the purpose, scope, and contact information that is much too long to present here is available online. Overall interest and involvement with EP continues to grow, scientifically and technically. Here, we examine some of the basic concepts and experimental findings that underly present understanding. Accordingly, here, we note some of the advances and new topics that have appeared, or greatly expanded in activity, since the prior edition.
