ABSTRACT

This chapter explains crystal analyzer-based X-ray phase-contrast imaging (XPCI), introduces the basis of XPCI in Section 53.1, describes the theory of X-ray dynamical diffraction in Section 53.2, presents an algorithm especially for 3D image reconstruction in Section 53.3, gives examples of medical images in Section 53.4, explains an attempt at a clinical path in Section 53.5, and explores future aspects in Section 53.6 (for an introduction to X-ray phase-contrast imaging, see Section IV, Chapter 49).
