Most of magnetic sensors are really sensors of flux density of magnetic field*—there are some sensors that measure other values by magnetic principle, for example, magnetostrictive sensors of pressure. Figure 4.1 presents sensitivity ranges of the most commonly used magnetic field sensors (MFS).
