Abstract
This chapter covers recent advances in ultraviolet (UV), visible, and infrared (IR) detector technology, that is, materials and device for a variety of imaging, detection, and sensor applications. The detector array technology includes GaN/AlGaN, ZnO/MgZnO, Si, SiGe, Si micro electro mechanical system (Si MEMS), and carbon nano tube (CNT) for optical sensing applications.
