ABSTRACT

Gas processing consists of separating all of the various hydrocarbons and uids from pure natural gas (Mokhatab et al., 2006; Speight, 2007, 2014). Major transportation pipelines usually impose restrictions on the makeup of the natural gas that is allowed into the pipeline-before the natural gas can be transported, the level of contaminants must be markedly reduced. This is no easy task when the variable nature of the gas composition must be taken into consideration (Table 11.1).
