Abstract

This chapter summarizes the evolution of the structure, properties, and synthesis methods of aqueous graphene with an emphasis on the biosensing application. The theoretical and experimental investigation of recent aqueous graphene synthesis methods are reviewed and discussed. Superior methods to obtain graphene are beneficial for all electronic applications and make aqueous graphene a very promising material for biosensors.
