ABSTRACT

The plug-in electric vehicle (PEV) is a unique addition to the electric grid and its incorporation is significantly changing the landscape of the electric grid in the most compelling and transformative manner since the inception of the grid. The electric grid is changing from its composition in the ways it has to be designed and analyzed. Plug-in electric vehicles have been capturing market share in a significant manner. Global PEV sales have surpassed 280,000 units as of December 2014 [1].
