Abstract

The experience acquired during the last several decades shows that electronic commerce (e-commerce) transforms the organization of tasks, modifies the balances within administrations or enterprises, and brings about a reevaluation of the roles played by economic agents. Success does depend not only on technical mastery but also on good management of sociological and cultural factors, particularly when integration of the processes used in several independent entities is at stake.
