ABSTRACT

In recent years, both the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) and employers have come to realize that employee involvement is crucial in the conduct of an effective safety and health effort in the workplace. This is why true employee involvement is a mechanism that can assure commitment and buy-in by the workforce. Involvement can be a part of the office building environment or manufacturing operation to foster the kind of safety culture that goes a long way toward prevention of bad safety and health practices in the workplace.
