ABSTRACT
This chapter describes a generic framework for acceptance and approval processes for public transport systems. Based on the huge diversity in practices today, the generic activities of the involved actors are identified to introduce a standardized core process for acceptance and approval and a guide for adapting the core process for specific needs. This method allows the appliers to create less complex processes for less critical projects, and by that, it can help to improve the competiveness of public transport systems.
