Abstract

Virtue ethics provides unique resources for moral thinking, and some writers and teachers in ethics regard it as superior to rule theories for at least the practice of business. This essay clarifies certain distinctive uses of virtue-theoretic—aretaic—concepts for business and, more broadly, for leadership in organizations.
