Klaus Bosselmann, PhD, is a Professor and Director of the New Zealand Centre for Environmental Law at the University of Auckland Faculty of Law. He is chair of various international professional bodies including the IUCN Commission on Environmental Law Ethics Specialist Group and the Global Ecological Integrity Group. Professor Bosselmann has been an advisor to UNEP, IUCN, the EU and the New Zealand and German governments on legal issues related to hazardous substances, biodiversity, climate change and sustainable development. He has authored or edited 25 books in the area of international environmental law, domestic environmental law and sustainability approaches to law-making and global governance.
