ABSTRACT
The Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) is a novel mechanism intended to synthesize and provide the authoritative compilation and interpretation of climate science, so as to inform policy. Understanding India’s engagement with climate change, therefore, also requires understanding India’s role at the IPCC. That is the purpose of this chapter.
