ABSTRACT

The perspectives through which I (the lead author) have encountered change are multidimensional: as an individual negotiating challenges of daily life in family, community, and church; as an employee in a corporation; and as a senior manager of a Fortune 50 company. Specifically, as a senior level manager I am faced with the challenges of predicting, communicating, facilitating, and accommodating change on a daily basis. My company operates in a technology industry; thus, the speed and complexity of the changes seem to be exacerbated. In my workplace, we change to survive.
