ABSTRACT

Over recent years, there has been a growing research interest in the educational needs of gifted individuals with learning problems (Baum 1984, 1988; Baum et al. 1998; Reis this volume). This research concentrates on the nature of learning problems experienced by gifted individuals, as well as the need for appropriate curriculum differentiation for them (Attwood 1998; Baum et al. 1991; Cash 1999b; Montgomery this volume; Neihart 2000).
