ABSTRACT

Historically, agencies in the Intelligence Community (IC) have encouraged interested recruits to major in history, international studies, national security, political science, statistics, accounting, or in law. While this may still be true, in the last ten to fifteen years, many universities and colleges have begun offering degrees in intelligence studies. In fact, many universities offer not only bachelor’s degrees, but also master’s degrees in intelligence. Agencies in the IC are interested in these intelligence degrees as they provide the IC recruit a good foundation for starting their career.
