ABSTRACT
Chilean theatre has a long-standing tradition of conveying topical political messages. Nowadays, newer generations of artists have developed a spectrum of strategies to discuss political topics in the post-dictatorial context, including the renouncement to addressing a message as a political standpoint. This chapter discusses the political potential of such exploration by analysing the scenic and narrative strategies used in the play Dark (2016).
