ABSTRACT
HAAGA-HELIA (HH) University of Applied Sciences is a large business and tourism educator in the south of Finland with more than 10,000 students at six campuses aspiring to complete a bachelor or Master’s degree. Tourism as well as business courses are taught in both English and Finnish at Porvoo Campus. Porvoo is a historic town 50 km east of Helsinki. In Finland the universities of applied sciences (polytechnics) are part of the higher education system and emphasize regional development, learning and applied research.
