Abstract

As one of Europe's smallest countries, Luxembourg does not have any physical anthropologists. Subsequently, excavation of historical human remains is done by archaeologists, while modern skeletons with potential criminal implications fall under the care of the police and, if there is an indication of a crime, the public prosecutor.
