Abstract

In describing procedures words such as mazu ‘first’, hajime ni/saisho ni ‘at the beginning’, tsugi ni ‘next’, soshite ‘then’, sorekara ‘then’, saigo ni ‘finally’ or the like can be used. Procedures are usually described using nonpast forms of verbs.
