ABSTRACT

The Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) is a regional organisation established under the dominance of Russia to boost integration procedures of regional economy. On May 29, 2014, based on the “Declaration for the integration of Eurasian economy” (November 18, 2011), the “Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union” was jointly signed in Astana (capital of Kazakhstan) by Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia to announce that the EEU was formally established on January 1, 2015. On January 2 and August 12, 2015, respectively, Armenia and Kyrgyzstan were approved as EEU member states. In April 2017, Moldova became the first observer state of EEU.
