ABSTRACT

On March 1, 2016, the Amber Railway Freight Corridor (the No. 11 letter of construction intent) was signed by the transportation departments of Hungary, Poland, Slovakia and Slovenia (hereinafter “these 4 countries”), which was then submitted to the European Commission. On December 5, 2017, the “Memorandum of cooperation on the joint construction of Amber Railway Freight Corridor” was jointly signed by these 4 transportation departments, indicating a formal initiation of this corridor. 1
