ABSTRACT
The Overland Silk Road was not a route but a communication network. Similarly, the Maritime Silk Road was not merely a route, but a network consisting of multiple sea routes. Geographically, it mainly included the Eastern Maritime Silk Road and the Southern Maritime Silk Road. The Eastern Maritime Silk Road was developed earlier, while the Southern Maritime Silk Road was of greater importance.
