ABSTRACT
The Belt and Road Initiative, which shoulders the mission of the new era and integrates the content of the new era, is rooted in the historical soil of the ancient Silk Road, although it covers, but is not limited to, the area of the ancient Silk Road. In order to adapt to the development of the times and changes in the international situation, the Chinese government is striving to build the Belt and Road into an open cooperation platform, which adheres to the Silk Road spirit of “peace and cooperation, openness and inclusiveness, mutual learning and mutual benefit”, upholds the principles of “extensive consultation, joint contribution and shared benefits” and aims to create carriers, build channels, bridge geographical, civilised, economic and social development gaps, promote common development and harmonious development of all countries in the world and build a community of a shared future for mankind.
