ABSTRACT

“Corridor”is a special economic space form formed by economic factors continually gathering and spreading within a certain geographical area. As the flagship project of the BRI, the China–Pakistan Economic Corridor, north to Kashi, Xinjiang and south to the Gwadar Port, is a growth axis and development belt of complementary advantages and mutual benefits based on cooperation projects in the fields of major infrastructure construction and industry and people’s livelihood, with the comprehensive transport corridor and industrial cooperation as the main axis, economic and trade and cultural exchanges as the engine. The Corridor is an important manifestation of the all-weather strategic cooperation between China and Pakistan.
