ABSTRACT
Since 2012, especially after the concept of major-country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics initiated at the end of November 2014, Chinese diplomatic ideas and endeavours have been focused on shaping this new kind of relationship. The international community agrees that China has already been an important force in contemporary international community, but many countries are still not clear about how China can use its power. The misunderstanding and misconception of some countries not only result from ideological bias but also, more importantly, from the lack of theoretical knowledge.
