ABSTRACT
On May 14, 2017, President Xi Jinping of the People’s Republic of China attended the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation and delivered a keynote speech. He pointed out that: “Deficit in peace, development and governance poses a daunting challenge to mankind. This is the issue that has always been on my mind”.
