ABSTRACT

On May 8, 2015, the “Joint statement for cooperating in the construction alignment between the Silk Road Economic Belt and the Eurasian Economic Union” was jointly released by China and Russia in Moscow, Russia, which is an important consensus. On June 17, 2016, at the “Plenary meeting of St Petersburg International Economic Forum”, Vladimir Putin, President of Russia, appealed at his speech to establish the Greater Eurasian Partnership Plan (hereinafter referred to as “this plan”), which includes the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU), China, India, Pakistan, Iran, countries of the Independent Commonwealth States and other interested countries or international organisations. He proposed to enlarge the synergy within a flexible integrated and structural framework and effectively accomplish a series of production and economic tasks just through a common effort and mutual coordination under the current objective situation.
