ABSTRACT

Colombia currently faces major change involving both social transformation and a policy heralding a peace process to end the internal armed conflict of nearly 60 years between the Revolutionary Armed Forces of Colombia (FARC) and the Government. The establishment of peace and a willingness to let go of the past should help facilitate the implementation and fulfilment of some of the goals set out in the 2030 UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)—a high-impact agenda seeking, essentially, to build a better society for all, without leaving anyone behind.
