ABSTRACT

We live in an era of disruptive technology. Internet-technology giants, who were latecomers to the field of mobility objects production, have recently discovered the possibilities of integrating the automobile with new technological systems. However, motoring holds a peculiar meaning for us, and still possesses an appeal even during the present era of connected objects and augmented reality. 1 What does the traditional world of the automobile have to say in an era of the autonomous vehicle that is often presented as an inexorable and unavoidable future? Can the proposed change exist contemporaneously with an automobilism that speaks not only to human action but human enjoyment as well?
