ABSTRACT
Shahid Javed Burki, Asad Ejaz Butt and Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury, the co-editors of this book, invited their Pakistan-based contributors to a review meeting. Several attended. The meeting was held at the office of the Shahid Javed Burki Institute of Public Policy (BIPP) in Lahore on 29 March 2018. The aim of the meeting was to review the final manuscript, discuss the utility of the work, reflect on how the main conclusions reached in the book could be disseminated once it had been published, and to contemplate on how the country could improve the narrative that had developed around it.
