ABSTRACT
Migrations, as a constant factor in life, are a feature of our everyday experience. Perhaps the story of our times will be written at some future date as a history of people and nations caught up in migration; large-scale migration is not the exception, but the normal state in modernity (Collier 2013; Ness 2013; Beck 2016).
