ABSTRACT
As a medical social worker, for some years I worked with high-risk, usually premature, newborns and their families. I know what a very premature infant, one just beyond the legal limits for abortion, looks like and thus, what it would look like if still in utero. There is no question that it is a human being, and that it is trying to live.
