Abstract

This story is based on an autistic child, the nephew of an investigative journalist who brings his family to hide in his village with his brother as he continues his journalistic work. This shows the insidious role media plays in depicting those who seek the truth and expose corruption in times of war , as enemies of the State . Vigilante censorship is played at many levels here, and by having an ending where someone blameless is made to be the perpetrator of a crime that he has no control over, we see what harm is caused by mature adults – even those who say they stand, and are getting paid to stand, for Human Rights – doing nothing when obvious crimes can be seen devouring the innocent.
