ABSTRACT
Energy is one of the main engines of economic development and social transformation that is present in each and every aspect of economic activity, both in production and consumption. It is therefore a basic necessity of the overall economy and a key element of the cost structure of the productive system which has a strong social and environmental impact. This is why energy policy plays a vital role in economic development, and therefore, it should take into consideration all these aspects in order to achieve its goals.
