ABSTRACT
We assume that if you chose to read this book it is because you share with us the idea that the fundamentals of the contemporary food system must be rethought. Food poverty, non-communicable diseases, environmental degradation, social injustice and resource depletion are only a few of the visible consequences of a food system intended to produce and distribute food not on the basis of needs and rights, but on the demands of the market.
