ABSTRACT

Southern Min is one of the Chinese dialects spoken in the southern part of Min (currently Fujian) province in China. This language was brought to Taiwan in the 17th century by migrants from the southern part of Min, where Tsuan-tsiu and Tsiang-tsiu (漳州) are the two major regions.
